The kitchen cabin at Camp Waipu Cove was amazing! The open-plan room with a queen-size bed and bunks was perfect for our family of five. The bathroom in the cabin was great, with a toilet, shower, and hand basin area. We even had a private outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Having free WiFi in our guestroom was a nice touch. We could stay connected and share our wonderful experiences with friends and family. The cabin also had a wardrobe, clothes rack, oil and fan heaters, making it easy for us to stay comfortable during our stay. We loved the convenience of having a refrigerator, microwave, and tea/coffee making facilities in our bungalow. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The bathroom in our cabin was accessible from both the bedroom and the living area, providing convenience for everyone. The bungalows with patios were a nice touch. We could relax outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Camp Waipu Cove. The refrigerator in our bungalow was handy. We could store our drinks and snacks for easy access.
Personally, I was not a big fan of having a separate outdoor shower. It was a bit inconvenient for me.

The staff was especially helpful and amiable, providing assistance. the location in Waipu was beautiful, not far from the beach, playground, and the epic Cove Cafe with a great food selection. It was also literally right next to the sand.

The brand-new, stylish, tasteful, and clean space was perfect for a couple. We were pleasantly surprised by the functional and accessible apartment, even though we don't use a wheelchair. The flyscreens on the windows were a brilliant idea, allowing us to enjoy fresh air without any pesky insect attacks. The staff was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and they even helped jumpstart our car when we had a flat battery. The entire campground was well-maintained and had excellent facilities, including a good recycling program. The location near the sea and public toilets was super convenient, especially for those who love surfing. We were impressed with everything provided, from the heater to the well-equipped kitchen. The welcome message and the helpful attitude of the staff made us feel right at home. Getting onto the beach was easy, and we loved the picnic tables where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views. Our unit was a true delight, thoughtfully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We were even touched by the thank you message we received after our stay. our experience was jaw-droppingly amazing and we can't wait to visit again!

Spent Christmas by the beach in a stunning location. The cabin we stayed in was well-appointed and only a few metres from the playground and beach. The nearby cafe was within walking distance, and the staff was knowledgeable about the area's activities. The entire campground's facilities were well-maintained and included an excellent recycling program.
The neighbouring houses were situated too closely, giving some guests an open view into other living areas. The pay-as-you-go showers were frustrating to use, as not all of them had hot water from the start.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape at a lovely beach hotel. the staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival, making our check-in and stay enjoyable. the little bungalow was clean and provided us with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. the location was perfect, being only a short walk away from the beach and playground. It was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to relax with ease. We enjoyed heading down to the beach to walk hand in hand along the water's edge, creating cherished memories together.
the bed was not very comfortable, making it harder for us to sleep restfully at night.
